About Amazing Unfiltered Life
Somewhere along the way, books about everyday life got very serious. Five-step frameworks. Morning routines. Journaling prompts. Meanwhile, actual everyday life kept being what it has always been: a series of well-intentioned plans collapsing in front of witnesses.
Amazing Unfiltered Life publishes humorous never-to-follow guidebooks ~ books that look like guides, are shaped like guides, and will guide you absolutely nowhere. Each one takes a corner of real life (vacations, work, hobbies, parenting, pets, the gym you pay for but do not attend) and tells the truth about it, with the filter off.
The format
Every Unfiltered book follows the same beloved architecture: twelve core chapters of escalating real-life chaos, eleven interactive detours (quizzes, bingo cards, deeply unscientific assessments), and three interludes to catch your breath. Standalone laughs, no story arc homework, and callbacks that reward the readers who stay to the end.
The voices
Our books are told by the voices of Unfiltered ~ a cast of narrators, each with their own arena. Makaio holds down Paradise with island-time patience the universe keeps testing. Sean Malone fights fires and, more often, himself. Penny is the Fab Mom holding it all together in public. Austin has a framework for everything and a success rate of nearly nothing. They are joined by Brent, Liko, Jenny, Olivia ~ and above them all, Blaze T. Grundie, founder and chief story scout of Amazing Unfiltered Life, who only signs off on a book after laughing until something comes out of their nose.
The family
Amazing Unfiltered Life is the book arm of Amazing Epic Life. Sixteen series strong and growing, with companion projects on the way. First stop: Paradise.
The fine print (the honest kind)
These books are comedy. The narrators are fictional personas; their stories are exaggerated, remixed, and occasionally physically impossible. Nothing here is advice ~ not life advice, not medical advice, not financial advice, and emphatically not firefighting technique. Please do not attempt the Malone Method. Any resemblance to real persons, living, retired, or hiding at the 19th hole, is coincidental. If one of our books genuinely improves your life, that was an accident and we apologize for the inconvenience.
